My ortho visit yesterday featured the usual care and attention from Dr. Kennedy and his staff, despite the office currently undergoing renovations. I was having some minor issues that were quickly addressed—coolly, calmly, and efficiently—and sent on my way with smiles.
Time for one of our yearly cleanings. Even though we weren't scheduled to see Dr. Kennedy, he took time to say hello and do a quick check. He always takes time to check in on us.

Dr. Kennedy is the best dentist I have ever been to. I'm 74, have seen a few. His concern about patient comfort during procedures is remarkable and feels heartfelt. He provides as much information/education as you want and takes ample time to explain procedures and options. He is a careful and thorough practitioner and does very good work. I thank my lucky stars when I met Dr. Kennedy who was doing dental work for my elderly Great Aunt.He was so kind and caring with her. The way he explained any procedure gave me such a sense of trust. I soon became a patient along with my husband and mother. When my daughter and her husband and kids all moved back to Portland from Boston soon they all became part of the Kennedy family. That’s how he treats you.
Dr. Kennedy and his staff are amazing. They explained what they were doing and made sure I was comfortable and pain free during a long appointment. I highly recommend this this practice.
Was in for a teeth cleaning this time. Had a nice chat with the hygienist about Dr. Kennedy’s premises and staff training. The most comfortable, clean, and up-to-date dental office I’ve ever visited, and I’m seventy years old. Staff are encouraged to learn the latest practices, and their enthusiasm shows. Going to the dentist is never fun, but it’s a lot less not-fun than it could be thanks to Dr. Kennedy!
